     Warning!  After a few paragraphs, I used some cuss words to describe my experiences.  I wasn't focused on grammar and intellectual word choices as much I was on just telling it like it is as I know it.      During a couple of years ago, diarrhea started to affect my life more than ever.  At the same time, a hernia developed in my gut between my navel and genitals.  I had just begun course work in Cosmetology, and I was getting up at 4:30 every morning because I had to be at work scrubbing pot and pans and doing various other student worker tasks at 6 am. in the campus dining hall.  I worked until 7:45, then started classes which were over at about 4 pm. after which I worked a few more hours in the campus dining hall.  So I was living a busy life when my health issue began to invade my life.  Successfully, I finish my Cosmetology work, got my license, and went to work cutting hair.  Did that for over a year befo...

Fun with Chicken wings, Spicy Sweet and Sour Sauce, Peanut Butter Sauce

  So I was wanting a wide mouth deep cooking tool (it helps avoid grease splatters all over the stove).  A wok is soooo versatile.  I found this one for $5.  I don't like the wooden handles (they tend to deteriorate fast), but it might work out just fine over the long haul.       It was so much fun cutting up the chicken wings and coating them with a mixture of corn starch, all purpose flour (I think self-rising flour would have produced an even crispier crust) to which I should have added baking powder but I forgot, salt, and pepper.      I fried the wings twice.  Yes!  Fry for about 6 minutes on each side, remove, then fry the whole batch a second time for about 5 - 10 minutes... to add to the crispiness!            I've been anxious to try this homemade spicy, sweet, and sour sauce.  In a food processor, I chopped nectarines, apricots, ginger, red pepper flakes...

Why would Adam, Abraham, Moses, David ... want to meet me in heaven?

     Why would Adam, Abraham, Moses, David or any character of history want to meet me in heaven?        I'm not saying that I wouldn't be worth meeting.  I'm simply pondering the fact that I lived during the 20th century and there have been millions upon millions of souls living on earth since some time after "in the beginning."        What will our glorified bodies look like?  Will it be like any body I've had while on earth?  Will it be like the 25 year old body, the 40 year old body, or the 3 year old body that I had?  Seriously, will I know my earthly father in his glorified body? What about my mother?  What about anyone I've met, known, and/or admired in my lifetime on earth?  What about anyone I didn't have the chance to meet?      Will the Apostle Paul want to meet Ronald Scott Batson?  Why?  What would we talk about?  Air travel?  Quantum physics?  ...
