Easy as Pie on May 8, 2017
Ok, this is what's in the baking dish:
- About four kaiser rolls from the bakery. They were a few days old and sort of hard, so they were perfect. I crumbled them up into a large mixing bowl.
- 1 10oz can of evaporated milk and 1/2 can of water. I poured it into a blender.
- 1 cup of white sugar ... in the blender,
- 3 large eggs... in the blender,
- 1 banana ... in the blender
- 1 shot of vanilla ... in the blender
- Blend, blend, blend!
- Poured the blended mix over the crumble bread.
- I sliced two bananas and stirred them into the mix.
- I added about a cup of old fashioned rolled oats... stirred into the mix.
- After stirring the mix well, I poured it into a greased baking dish.
- I sliced 1/2 stick of unsalted butter and placed the slices on top of the mix.
- I baked the mix at 350 degrees for one hour.
- I removed the pudding from the oven and poured chopped walnuts all over the top, returned it to the oven, turned off the oven, and let it all sit while the oven cooled.
Let's call it Bread-Banana-Walnut Pudding
