Lapping Around the Sun

     

       First, she taps me with a front paw.  I've always smiled at her when she's done that (I'm a good daddy).  Then I say, "Good girl!"  Then, like she's looking forward to it, she gives me a facial.  I think she knows what, "I love you!" means.  She wags her tail and does a moaning thing after I say, "I love you!"

     A scab on my face near my right ear hasn't healed!  It's been there several months and has oozed, so I had it checked out.      The good doctor said, "You're gonna be okay.  It's not gonna go through your body, but it's the most common form of skin cancer. This other spot under your left eye is pre-cancerous."      He sprayed some really cold stuff on the spot under my left eye, and did some swabbing of the spot near my right ear.  He's gonna send off for a biopsy report, and I'm to follow up after a couple of weeks, and that's that.      Since I was in the area, I decided to enjoy lunch at "Cross Roads Cafe" in Clarkesville, Georgia.  

     The good doctor said, "Your pancreas was producing 95% less enzymes than it should have been.  You've put on some weight, so that a sign that we're on the right track.  I'll order a copy of your colonoscopy report.  Let's up the doseage of ZenPep, and we'll see you again in about a year."  I was in and out of that building within thirty minutes.
